Welcome to the Paralegal Studies Course!

THINGS TO DO FIRST:

1) Download and print the course syllabus
2) Order the Textbook
3) Study the chapters in the textbooks that are on the TIMELINE section of the syllabus.

REQUIRED TO PASS THE CLASS:

a) Complete all Homework, online Chapter quizzes and the Final exam
b) HOMEWORK: Create a separate Word Document for Each Chapter Titled: “Chapter X Homework”. Answer all questions in the section:”Questions for Review” at the end of the chapter and email to your class instructor or to [email protected] with subject line: “First Name Last Name – Paralegal Studies – Chapter X Homework”
c) Below are due dates for completion of Homework and Quizzes per each Chapter, the time starts once you register for the class:

  1. Chapter 1 HW and Quiz – by 3rd week
  2. Chapter 2 HW and Quiz – by 4th week
  3. Chapter 3 HW and Quiz – by 5th week
  4. Chapter 4 HW and Quiz – by 6th week
  5. Chapter 10 HW and Quiz – by 7th week
  6. Chapter 12 HW and Quiz – by 8th week
  7. Final Exam – by 9th week

** All quizzes and homework can be completed earlier than the required date. If HW or Quiz is not completed by due date, the student will receive an F for the respective quiz or homework.

Grading Breakdown

Quizzes: 45%

Homework: 30%

Final: 25%
